We are thrilled to announce that the San Diego Hula Academy will be joining us again at our anniversary celebration! Founded in 2018, the academy has grown from a humble beginning of 600 square feet and a handful of students to a flourishing community. Representing the rich lineage of Lehua Kawaikapuokalani Hewett and Kūhai Hālau O Kawenaokalā’īokalani Pā ‘Ōlapa Kahiko, the academy offers a rich array of cultural performances including Hawaiian hula, Tahitian dance, ukulele, and Hawaiian music.
